# Rebalance

> Keeping your stocks at the split you chose.

Prices move, so your split drifts. Once per New York trading day, while the market is open, the agent checks it.

* If any stock is more than **5%** away from its target, it sells the overweight ones for USDT and buys the underweight ones with it.
* Trades under **\$5** are skipped.
* A stock with a target of 0% is sold in full.
* Sells come first. Buys are scaled to the USDT the sells actually returned.
* If a refill is due, there's no rebalance that day: the refill already sells the most overweight stock.
* It runs once a day even if it fails; a broken trade is left for a person to look at.
